Company registration can be done remotely by submitting signed documents by email/ mail, and opening a Fintech account. Your presence in Hong Kong is only required to open a bank account.

Advice and Administration

  • Consulting services: identification of your needs, validations of your business structure, support and follow-up throughout the company set up and first year of operation.
  • Mail forwarding and/or scanning of your company mail.
  • Shared telephone number with a receptionist service (English and Chinese) and fax number (forwarding to e-mail address).
  • Website hosting + domain name + WordPress pre-installed.
  • Template of an invoice, quote and order form.

Bank Account

  • Assistance  opening a company bank account in Hong Kong.
  • Meetings in our offices and with the bank for the signatures to open your company bank account.
  • Certification of documents by a local accountant – HKCPA (required to open a bank account).

Company Set Up

  • Registration of your company.
  • Drafting of the statutes of the company with a “generalist” object allowing you to carry out all activities.
  • Forwarding or safekeeping of registration documents: Certificate of Incorporation, Business Registration Certificate, Memorandum & Articles of Association, Form NC1.
  • Implementation of the Significant Controllers Register (mandatory).
  • 3 stamps: round chop, signature chop, common seal.

Maintenance of the Company

  • Local Company Secretary (required).
  • Request for tax exemption (this is not automatic and must be requested).
  • Employer Return (mandatory annual filing even for no employees).

Required Documents for Company Set Up and Bank Accounts in Hong Kong

Company Registration:

  • Copy of the passports of the future directors and partners of the company.
  • Copy of a proof of address dated less than 3 months from the future directors and shareholders of the company (electricity bill, water, gas, telephone, etc.).
  • Choosing your company name: you can choose from our list of ready-made companies (contact us to obtain this list). For companies created at your request, you must submit 2-3 desired names in order of preference (we you will then indicate the names available).

Bank Accounts:

  1. At a bank in Hong Kong:
  • Original documents of the company certified by HKCPA;
  • Copy of the passports of the directors and associates of the company;
  • Copy of a proof of address dated less than 3 months for directors and associates of the company (electricity bill, water, gas, telephone, etc.).
  • Proof of activity (invoices paid, contracts signed, bank statements for the last 6 months in connection with an activity in Hong Kong or China).
  1. From a Hong Kong Fintech:
  • Scanned documents of the company;
  • Copy of the passports of the directors and associates of the company;
  • Copy of a proof of address dated less than 3 months for the directors and associates of the company (electricity bill, water, gas, telephone, etc.).

Procedures for setting up the company and opening its bank account

The procedure for setting up your company in Hong Kong is as follows:

  1. Contact us by e-mail or via our online contact form.
  2. We will assess your needs and advise you about which business structure we can offer you that will best fit your needs.
  3. Complete this secure form.
  4. We will issue you an invoice by email.
  5. Upon confirmation of your payment, we will email you the registration documents of your company. You will need to print them out, sign them, and either mail or hand-deliver them to our Hong Kong office.
  6. Once we receive your documents at our Hong Kong office we can start the registration process of your company.
  7. Your company is created. The original registration documents of your company will be sent to you via FedEx, or you can pick them up at our offices on your arrival in Hong Kong.
  8. Opening a bank account:
  9. Fintech: you can access and complete the documents for opeing an account online via our secure online portal for clients (no travel necessary to HK);
  10. A bank: You will need to attend a meeting in Hong Kong with the bank. We will arrange the appointment for you.
