As of January 1, 2014 for new companies, and until July 1, 2014 for existing companies, the regulation requires that a Hong Kong company must have at least one director that is a natural person. This is indicated on the page n ° 494, paragraph n ° 457 of the ordinance n ° 28-2012 on companies.
